Olive Roberts

 Olive Roberts, Associate Director at Conor Kenny & Associates, knows a thing or two about sales. With a track record of success her credentials are second to none.

A graduate from Galway University's BA programme in Hotel & Catering Management, Olive's career began in London where she remained for 10 years working for global hotel brands such as Sarova Hotels, Forte & Le Meridien Hotel Group and Park Plaza Hotels. Her final role in 2003 before   returning home was UK Director of Sales. Her career spanned across all sectors of the hotel sales spectrum.
 

 

Returning home to Ireland in 2003, Olive was appointed to the position of Director of Sales at Hayfield Manor in Cork City, a 'Small Luxury Hotel of the World'. Here an established hotel needed further exposure, client relationship building and sales strategy to drive it to the next level.

 

Olive then moved out of the city to Capella Castlemartyr as Director of Sales & Marketing. An exciting new Brand under the leadership of hospitality legend Horst Schulze was created and needed to be introduce to the marketplace.

 

In 2008 Olive began to consult with hotels. In December 2009, she joined Conor Kenny & Associates and is responsible for helping hotels and tourism sector business develop effective sales plans. Olive is a passionate teacher and trainer and brings her enthusiasm for sales to all her workshops, consultancy and teaching roles.
